Browsing History Help

We have worked very hard to provide you a safe environment when viewing our website. Please note the “Quick Escape” button in the upper-right corner. It should always be visible to get you out fast if/when you need it.

!!! IMPORTANT — By far the best way to stop your web browser from tracking your browsing history is to use your browser’s “Private Browsing” mode. Using this mode in your browser will keep the pages you view from being logged in your browsing history. The private browsing mode may also be called Secret Mode, Private Mode, Incognito Mode/Browsing, or InPrivate Browsing.

You may notice that your “Back” button doesn’t work. That is because we have done our best to keep your visit out of your browser’s history. Some browsers will still record your visit. While browsing this site you are perhaps 80% protected from having your page-loads recorded. Below are links that will help you with learning how to use Private Browsing and Delete Browser History on your specific browser and device.

If this page doesn’t help you with your particular browser or device, you might Google your specific browser and device for information about private browsing or deleting history.

Private Browsing Mode

Most browsers have menu icons that look like one of these.  Private browsing on desktop computers will usually be found after clicking one of these:

On tablets or phones you will usually find private browsing after clicking on the ‘Pages’ or ‘Tabs’ icon.  Those can look like one of these:

You may only see text saying something like “Private Browsing” or “Incognito mode”.  You also might see an icon like one of these:

NOTE* — It is safest to close all tabs before exiting Private Browsing modes.

Browsing History

Deleting all your history can look suspicious if someone is looking to see your browsing history.  It can be better to only delete the pages that you don’t want to be seen.

Look again for these browser menu icons:

On desktop computers it will normally be up in the upper right (or left) corner of the browser window.  On phones or tablet it may also be at the bottom of the screen.  Clicking on that will usually open up a menu that has “History” as one of the options.  Once you select “History” it is normally a simple matter to delete history.

Here is a link to where you can get instructions on deleting history from the most-used browsers and devices:
